A founding member of The Open Church, Ms. Jerrisa Perkins-Carter personifies a servant's heart. She leads the Kinship Care Team, performing outreach to members, friends, and associates of The Open Church. Jerrisa ensures that those in need stay connected through telephone calls, visits, prayer, and inclusion in our loving community. She is also a member of the Hospitality Team.
Ms. Perkins-Carter earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. Nationally certified in food safety, she is an Area Food Service Supervisor for Baltimore County Schools. In her spare time, Jerrisa enjoys cooking for and spending time with her family and friends.
