MR. GREG MURRILL

Gregory Murrill is a Baltimore native and grew up in the city's west side with his four siblings and parents. After graduating from Carver High School, Greg attended Morgan State University his freshman year before transferring to Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where he received a B.S. degree in civil engineering

Gregory returned to the Baltimore-Washington area, living in Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. for a few years where he attended Howard University and received a M.S. degree in civil engineering. Although work assignments placed in him locations around the country, his hometown of Baltimore is where he resided for most years.

During his time as a resident in Baltimore's Bolton Hill neighborhood, Greg attended the Douglass Memorial Community Church. It was here where he first met many current members of The Open Church (TOC) including founding senior pastor, Dr. Brad Braxton. In 2016, Dr. Braxton officiated the marital union of Gregory to his wife Erica Jarrett-Murrill, Ph.D. Gregory and Erica currently reside in Beltsville, Maryland.

Why is The Open Church for me?

The vision and mission of TOC aligns with a primary belief that our lives have meaning, and we should strive always to live our intended giving and purposeful life.
