Ms. McCoy has been a member of The Open Church since its inception. It is her first church home because for Susanne, The Open Church is a community, a learning community, and a family. She is thankful to be a part of such a warm, loving, inclusive, and supportive community.
Susanne is employed in the Department of Human Resources in a Maryland public school system. It almost seemed natural that she would become TOC's Membership Coordinator, which works hand in hand with the Kinship Care team. She welcomes visitors and new members and connects them with established members of the community.
Why is The Open Church for me?
The Open Church provides a forum to ask questions and to think outside of the box, even if it is uncomfortable. It is a place for you, no matter what your beliefs are.
